How to Manage Image SEO

The Image SEO tab connects Meta Manager with SEO Repair Kit’s Image Alt Missing feature.

It helps you identify images that may require alternative-text review.

Open Image SEO

Go to:

SEO Repair Kit → Meta Manager → Image SEO

Understand the Image Alt Missing Summary

The Image SEO screen provides a summary card for Image Alt Missing.

It displays:

Images Missing Alt

Shows the number of detected images currently missing alternative text.

Total Images

Shows the total number of images included in the current summary.

Check Missing Alt Text

Click:

Check Missing Alt Text

SEO Repair Kit opens the dedicated Image Alt Missing workflow.

Because Image Alt Missing has its own complete workflow, detailed image review and editing should be documented separately rather than duplicated inside Meta Manager.

Best practice: Alternative text should describe the purpose or meaningful content of an image. Do not add keywords simply to fill the field, and do not force descriptive alt text onto purely decorative images.
