The Archives tab lets you configure metadata and robots behavior for archive and search pages.

The current interface includes:

Open Archive Settings

Go to:

SEO Repair Kit → Meta Manager → Archives

Configure Author Archives

Expand Author Archives.

Open:

Title & Description

Configure Meta Title for Author

Available quick tags include:

• Author Name
• Separator
• Site Title
• View all tags

A dynamic template can combine the author name with your site title.

Configure the Author Meta Description

Available values include:

• Author Biography
• Archive Description
• Site Description
• View all tags

Use the preview to review the generated metadata.

Configure Author Archive Robots Settings

Open:

Advanced Robots Meta

Enable Sync Advanced Settings if Author Archives should inherit global robots settings.

Disable it if custom archive behavior is intentionally required.

The current interface includes:

• No Index
• No Archive
• No Image Index
• No Follow
• No Snippet
• Max Snippet Length
• Max Image Preview
• Max Video Preview

Important: Your test screenshot shows No Index selected. This is a test-site configuration and should not be presented as a universal recommendation.

Configure Date Archives

Expand Date Archives.

Use the options available in the current interface to configure date-based archive behavior.

If metadata or robots controls are available, configure them according to whether date archives are useful for the website.

Expand:

Search Page

Open:

Title & Description

Configure Search Meta Title

Available quick tags include:

• Search Term
• Separator
• Site Title
• View all tags

A template can use the visitor’s search term dynamically.

Configure Search Meta Description

Available tags include:

• Archive Description
• Site Description
• View all tags

Review the Preview after configuring the template.

Open Advanced Robots Meta if search-page-specific robots behavior is required.

Click SAVE CHANGES.
