What does Meta Manager do?

Meta Manager lets you configure SEO title and meta-description patterns and robots settings for important WordPress content areas.

Where can I find Meta Manager?

Go to:

WordPress Admin → SEO Repair Kit → Meta Manager

What are dynamic tags?

Dynamic tags are placeholders that are replaced with actual website/content information.

Examples include:

  • Site Title
  • Post Title
  • Category Title
  • Author Name
  • Search Term
  • Separator

Can Posts and Pages have different metadata?

Yes. Open Content Types and configure the available content types separately.

Why does another website show different Content Types?

Content types depend on what WordPress, the active theme, and installed plugins register on that website.

Why do Taxonomies differ between websites?

The same applies to taxonomies. Plugins/themes can register additional Categories, Tags, or custom taxonomies.

What does Sync Advanced Settings do?

It makes a content type, taxonomy, or archive inherit its robots configuration from:

Meta Manager → Advance Settings

Disable synchronization only when custom behavior is needed.

What does Use Default Settings do in the editor?

It keeps the individual post/page synchronized with its inherited robots configuration.

Turning it off allows a content-level override.

What does -1 mean?

In the current interface, -1 represents an unlimited value for controls such as Max Snippet and Max Video Preview.

Can I change SEO settings for only one post?

Yes. Use Meta Manager inside the WordPress editor and create a content-level override.

Can I use Meta Manager with Elementor?

Yes. The shared interface provides SEO Repair Kit settings inside Elementor Post Settings.

Should I enable No Index for Author Archives?

Not automatically. Whether an archive should be indexed depends on the website structure and SEO strategy.

How do I find images with missing alt text?

Go to:

Meta Manager → Image SEO

and click:

Check Missing Alt Text

Where is Knowledge Graph?

Open:

Meta Manager → Global Meta → Knowledge Graph

In the current interface, advanced functionality is connected with Schema Manager Pro.
