How to View Redirect Logs

The Redirect Logs tab provides a history of recorded redirect activity.

Depending on the event, the log can include redirect hits and administrative actions such as redirect creation or deletion.

Open Redirect Logs

Go to:

SEO Repair Kit → Redirection → Redirect Logs

Understand the Redirect Logs

Each log entry contains information about the recorded event.

The current table includes:

• Date
• Action
• Source URL
• Target URL
• IP Address
• User Agent
• Referrer

Date

Shows when the event was recorded.

This helps you understand when a redirect was triggered or when a recorded administrative action occurred.

Action

Shows the type of recorded activity.

Your current interface displays examples including:

• REDIRECT
• CREATED
• DELETED

REDIRECT represents a recorded redirect hit.

Administrative actions such as CREATED and DELETED provide history about changes made to redirect records.

Source URL

Shows the source associated with the logged redirect event.

For redirect hits, this helps identify which URL initiated the redirect.

Target URL

Shows the destination associated with the redirect.

This allows you to review where the request was directed.

IP Address

Shows the recorded IP address where available.

Visitor-level information depends on your logging configuration.

User Agent

Shows the recorded user-agent information.

This can provide information about the browser, bot, client, or process associated with the request.

Administrative actions in your screenshot can also appear as Admin Action.

Referrer

Shows available information about where the request or action originated.

For administrative events, your screenshot includes WordPress Admin.

Clear Redirect Logs

Click:

Clear Logs

when you intentionally want to remove the stored redirect log history.

Important: Clearing logs removes historical information you may need for troubleshooting or review. Clear them only when that history is no longer required.

Detailed visitor logging is controlled from the Settings tab.
