Job Posting Schema does not show the job information I need

Make sure your website has a job listing or career post type and that the relevant job information is stored by the installed job functionality.

Jobs does not appear under Assign to Post Type

Check whether the plugin or functionality that creates the Jobs post type is installed and active.

Available post types depend on what is registered on your WordPress website.

Job Title is missing

Check that:

Job Title → Post Default → Post Title

is selected and that the job post has a title.

Date Posted is missing

Check that:

Date Posted → Post Default → Post Date

is selected.

Valid Through is incorrect

Make sure the date represents the actual expiration or application deadline for the job listing.

Hiring Organization is missing

Check that the selected metadata contains the organization’s name.

The configuration shown uses:

Post Meta → simple_job_board_company_name

Job Location is missing

Make sure the job has a location assigned and that the mapping uses the intended taxonomy.

The configuration shown uses:

Taxonomy → Job Locations

Salary, education, experience, skills, or work hours are missing

Check that the corresponding job actually contains this information and that each field is mapped to the intended metadata.

JSON-LD Preview contains unexpected information

Review the affected field under Field Mappings and check both its source and selected value.

After changing the mapping, review the JSON-LD Preview again before saving.

Job Posting Schema does not validate

Review any validation message and check the corresponding field. Pay particular attention to Job Title, Date Posted, and Valid Through, which are marked with an asterisk in the current interface.

Correct the configuration, save the schema, and run Validate Schema again.
