What is Product Schema?

Product Schema is structured data used to describe product-related information in a machine-readable format. SEO Repair Kit generates Product JSON-LD using the fields configured in Schema Manager.

Where can I configure Product Schema?

Go to:

WordPress Dashboard → SEO Repair Kit → Schema Manager → Product

Which post type should I select?

For the WooCommerce setup shown in this guide, select:

Assign to Post Type → Products

The available post types depend on your WordPress setup.

What does Field Mapping mean?

A Field Mapping tells Schema Manager where to get the value for a schema property.

For example:

Name → Post Default → Post Title

means that the product’s WordPress title is used as its Product Schema name.

What should I select for SKU?

For the WooCommerce configuration shown:

Post Meta → _sku

What should I select for Price?

The configuration shown uses:

Post Meta → _price

What should I select for Regular Price?

The configuration shown uses:

Post Meta → _regular_price

What should I select for Sale Price?

The configuration shown uses:

Post Meta → _sale_price

What should I select for Stock Status?

The configuration shown uses:

Post Meta → _stock_status

How do I map product categories?

Select:

Taxonomy → Product categories

How do I map the product brand?

The option must be available in the website’s registered product taxonomies.

Can I preview Product Schema before saving it?

Yes. The JSON-LD Preview — Save & Validate panel displays the generated structured data based on the current configuration.

Can I change Product Schema after saving it?

Yes. Use Edit on the saved Product Schema configuration, make the required changes, review the JSON-LD again, and save the updated configuration.
