Sitemap Manager Troubleshooting

WordPress Sitemap Is Not Opening

Go to:

WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks

Click Save Changes once, then check the sitemap again.

A Post Type Is Missing From the Sitemap

1. Go to SEO Repair Kit → Sitemap Manager.
2. Make sure Enable Sitemap Manager is turned on.
3. Find Included Post Types.
4. Make sure the required post type is checked.
5. Click Save Sitemap Settings.

A Taxonomy Is Missing From the Sitemap

1. Open Included Taxonomies.
2. Make sure the required taxonomy is selected.
3. Click Save Sitemap Settings.
4. Check the WordPress core sitemap again.

Sitemap Manager Is Not Affecting Another SEO Plugin’s Sitemap

This is expected. Sitemap Manager controls only the default WordPress core sitemap:

wp-sitemap.xml

It does not control separate sitemaps generated by other SEO plugins.

Selected Content Is Not Updating

Review the Current Selection section to confirm your selections, then click Save Sitemap Settings again.
