Sitemap Manager Overview

SEO Repair Kit’s Sitemap Manager lets you control which content types and taxonomies remain included in the default WordPress core XML sitemap.

You can select the post types and taxonomies you want to keep in the sitemap and exclude content that you do not want included.

How to Access Sitemap Manager

From your WordPress dashboard, go to:

SEO Repair Kit → Sitemap Manager

This opens the Sitemap Manager screen.

Understand the Sitemap Manager

At the top of the page, Sitemap Manager provides information about your WordPress sitemap and the current configuration.

WordPress Core Sitemap URL

The WordPress Core Sitemap URL section displays the sitemap controlled by this feature.

The default WordPress sitemap uses:

/wp-sitemap.xml

Current Selection

The Current Selection section shows how many post types and taxonomies are currently selected.

For example:

• 0 post types selected
• 0 taxonomies selected

This summary changes according to your Sitemap Manager configuration.
