1. Open Meta Manager

First, access the Meta Manager settings from your WordPress dashboard.

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Navigate to SEO Repair Kit → Meta Manager.

This section allows you to manage global SEO metadata for your website.

2. Configure Content Type Settings

Next, configure the default SEO settings for different content types.

  1. Go to the Content Types tab.
  2. Configure SEO settings for:
    • Posts
    • Pages
    • Custom Post Types

Here you can define:

  • Default Meta Title
  • Meta Description
  • Other SEO-related options

These settings will be applied automatically to all content of that type.

3. Configure Archive Settings

You can also set SEO metadata for archive pages.

  1. Open the Archives tab.
  2. Configure SEO settings for archive pages such as:
    • Author Archives
    • Date Archives
    • Search Page

This helps search engines better understand and index archive pages on your site.

4. Configure Taxonomy Settings

Now configure SEO settings for your taxonomies.

  1. Navigate to the Taxonomies tab.
  2. Configure SEO metadata for:
    • Categories
    • Tags
    • Custom Taxonomies

You can set default Meta Titles and Meta Descriptions for taxonomy archive pages.

5. Save Your Settings

After completing the configuration:

  1. Click Save Changes.
  2. The settings will be saved and applied globally across your website.

This ensures consistent SEO metadata for all relevant pages.

6. Edit Meta Settings on Individual Pages

You can also customize SEO metadata for specific pages or posts.

  1. Open any Post or Page in the editor.
  2. Scroll to the Meta Manager SEO panel.

This panel is available in:

  • Gutenberg Editor
  • Elementor

Here you can:

  • Override the global Meta Title
  • Add a custom Meta Description
  • Configure Advanced Robots Meta settings for that specific page
