Step 1: Access the Redirection Settings

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to SEO Repair Kit.
  2. Click on the Redirection tab to access the redirection settings.

Step 2: Set Up a New Redirect

  1. Add a New URL: Click on the Add New Redirect button.
  2. Enter the Source URL: This is the old URL that you want to redirect.
  3. Enter the Target URL: This is the new URL where you want the traffic to be redirected.

Step 3: Save and Test the Redirect

  1. Click Save to confirm your redirection settings.

  2. Confirm the Deletion: The redirection rule will be removed from the list. This action is immediate and cannot be undone, so make sure you want to delete the redirection before proceeding.

Step 5: Monitor Redirects and Fix 404 Errors

  1. In the Redirection tab, check the 404 Error Logs to identify any broken links on your site.
  2. Set up redirects for these URLs to ensure your visitors are redirected to the correct pages.

Step 6: Redirection Logs

  1. Regularly check the Redirection Logs to monitor the effectiveness of your redirects.
  2. Analyze the logs to identify any frequently visited redirected URLs and refine your redirect strategy as needed.
