Understand the Queries Table

Each row contains:

Clicks recorded for that query.

Impressions

The number of recorded search impressions.

Position

The query’s reported average search position.

At the bottom of the report, KeyTrack identifies:

Find Queries That Need Attention

When analyzing the report, compare the metrics together.

For example, a query may have:

  • impressions but no clicks,
  • clicks and strong visibility,
  • or a different average position from other queries.

These patterns can help you identify queries worth investigating further.

Note: KeyTrack reports the performance data. A low click count by itself does not identify the cause. Search intent, ranking position, page relevance, and how the result appears in search can all be relevant when analyzing performance.
