Set Up KeyTrack with Google Site Kit

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 10 views

Before you can use KeyTrack, your WordPress website needs the Google Site Kit integration required by the feature.

If the integration is unavailable, KeyTrack displays a setup screen instead of performance reports.

In this guide

You’ll learn:

  • How to identify when Google Site Kit is required
  • How to start the installation
  • What needs to be configured before using KeyTrack
  • How to verify that KeyTrack is ready

Open KeyTrack

From your WordPress Dashboard, go to:

SEO Repair Kit → KeyTrack

If Google Site Kit is not available, SEO Repair Kit displays the setup notice.

It should clearly show:

  • Google Site Kit requirement
  • Installation instructions
  • Install & Activate Google Site Kit button

Install Google Site Kit

The setup screen provides the required workflow:

  1. Install the Google Site Kit plugin.
  2. Activate the Google Site Kit plugin.
  3. Set up Google Site Kit so it can integrate with SEO Repair Kit.

Click:

Install & Activate Google Site Kit

and complete the Site Kit setup process.

Note: Make sure the Search Console data you want to use belongs to the website you are configuring.

Verify the Connection

After completing the Site Kit configuration:

  1. Return to SEO Repair Kit → KeyTrack.
  2. KeyTrack should load its main interface.
  3. Check that the Overview, Pages, Queries, and Threshold tabs are available.
  4. Review the Overview to confirm that performance information is being displayed.

Use only the top section of your Overview screenshot, showing:

  • KeyTrack
  • Overview
  • Pages
  • Queries
  • Threshold
  • Date selector
  • four metric cards

If KeyTrack Still Shows the Setup Screen

Check that:

  • Google Site Kit is installed.
  • Google Site Kit is activated.
  • Site Kit setup has been completed.
  • The required Google services are connected for the website.

Then return to KeyTrack and check again.
