How It Works

Automated Scheduling:
You choose when scans run — daily, every 3 days, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. The system automatically triggers scans at the selected interval without any manual input.

Scan Configuration:
Before automation begins, you configure the scan scope (which post types to check), batch size (how many links per batch), links per post, and request timeout. These settings control how thoroughly and quickly scans execute.

Background Processing:
Once automation is enabled, scans run silently in the background. They do not interrupt your workflow or slow down your website. You can continue working normally while Auto Scan monitors your link health.

History & Snapshots:
Every automated scan is stored in the scan history. The system also keeps the latest scan snapshot, allowing you to compare current link health with previous scans and track changes over time.

Automatic Re-checking:
When a broken link is detected in one scan, Auto Scan automatically rechecks it in future scans. If the link becomes healthy again, the status updates automatically — no manual re-scanning needed.

Email Alerts :
You can enable email alerts to receive notifications when broken links are found. This keeps you informed without needing to check the dashboard constantly.
