Step 1: Install the Required Plugins

To use KeyTrack, ensure these plugins are installed:

  • Google Site Kit

How to Install Google Site Kit:

  1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress admin dashboard.
  2. Search for Google Site Kit.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. Complete the setup by connecting your Google account and enabling the Search Console module.

Step 2: Access the KeyTrack Feature

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to SEO Repair Kit > KeyTrack.
  2. This will open the KeyTrack dashboard, where you can view reports and configure settings.

Step 3: Configure Thresholds

  1. In the Threshold tab:
    • Threshold Reference: Enter a descriptive name for your tracking session (e.g., “Weekly SEO Goals”).
    • Target Keywords: Select keywords from the dropdown fetched from Google Search Console.
    • Tracking Period: Choose a time frame for tracking (e.g., 7 days, 14 days, etc.).
    • Click Submit to save your settings.
  2. If the Submit button is disabled:
    • A tracking job is already in progress. Wait until the next scheduled job is complete.

Step 4: View Reports

  • Navigate the Threshold tabs to explore different insights:
    1. Performance Summary:

Step 5: Receive Email Reports

Once thresholds are set, KeyTrack automatically sends detailed reports to your admin email, summarizing performance metrics and trends.

Step 6: Optimize Based on Insights

  • Use the data to:
    • Improve low-CTR pages with high impressions.
    • Focus on keywords with good rankings but low clicks.
    • Plan new content to target underperforming keywords.
